Batman: Arkham City Marketing Kicks Up a Gear + New Screenshots

The folks behind Arkham City’s website Weapon7 have kicked the marketing up a gear with a new fully operational search engine. Located at Alfred at Your Service, it is designed not only to serve as a regular old search engine… It has been super-powered through hidden “cryptic clues the dastardly Joker would be proud of, calling on Batman fans to interact, explore and unearth exclusive content.” Specific search terms will return exclusive content packs that include screenshots, audio files, videos and a chance to win a limited edition Xbox. So have fun trying to find all the little extras. (hint: try “Batman” and “Arkham City” to see what kind of stuff is there)

Alfred will also be Tweeting clues via @arkhamcitynews as well as through Xbox’s Facebook and game forums. These clues will unlock even more exclusive hidden content. So happy scavenging!

And, here’s a treat for your eyes. The newest screenshots, just released today!

The Sims 3 Pets 3DS and Xbox screenshots

Welcome to Appaloosa Plains, the newest city in The Sims franchise which will be launched this week with the release of The Sims 3: Pets, the 5th add-on pack for the hugely-popular life-simulator game The Sims 3. We also hear they’ve added a really cool new way to kill them that involves a magic trick. Players can use their new pets for practical stuff life transportation but there’s also a new campaign that involves sleuthing with your trusty cat or dog. And, if that’s not enough there’s magical Unicorns to be found. They can set things on fire, teleport and either curse or bless sims. You can’t kill your pets, they can only die of old age so that’s nice. Here’s some screenshots for both the 3DS and Xbox 360 versions.
