Duran Duran are releasing their new album in physical form this March. And, you get an extra 5 tracks to boot. This is the band’s 13th studio album and is entitled All You Need is Now. It’s the follow-up to 2007’s Red Carpet Massacre. It’s garnered some really favourable reviews since it went on sale digitally in December.

The 3rd Inspirations Gig in aid of Barretstown takes place on Friday April 1 at The Olympia, Dublin. Confirmed acts for the night include Glen Hansard, The Stunning,  Delerentos, O Emperor, Dirty Epics and Ryan Sheridan. There’s going to be lots more announced over the coming weeks. The acts will performing some of the classics from the likes of Bob Dylan, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones. Ray D’Arcy will be lending his hand to compère the night. Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster and all proceeds go directly to Barretstown. It’s a gig not to be missed, and all in aid of a very worth cause.

Britney Spears has released a 30 second teaser of the video for Hold it Against Me which will be released tomorrow. And here it is:

The Cult, The Courteeners, Big Country, Band of Horses, Mike + The Mechanics, We Are Scientists, Wonderland, Springbok Nude Girls, Various Cruelties, ABC and EDEI have all been confirmed to join the line up of this year’s Isle of Wight festival. Acts already confirmed include Kasabian, Kings of Leon and Pulp.
