Solomon & Finder are two London boys making great music. They’re mellow and quirky and Pop Culture Monster is loving what he’s hearing. Judging from their demo tracks, it’s only a matter of time before these two “lost boys” are hitting it massive.
Melodically and lyrically interesting, they’re playing around with a soundscape that’s rarely heard, with an emphasis on atmosphere rather than hard hitting beats. This doesn’t come at the price of a deeply inset pop sensibility that is accordingly very London in sound.
Atmospheric, immersive and intelligent, this is the way music should be made. Key tracks are Weather and Weed Runner, the latter available for free download from the lads on their MySpace.
