Marvel Studios announced yesterday that they would be holding a global Twitter chat on January 31st at 11am PST (that’s 7pm for us in the GMT timezone, which is really handy because you’ll all hopefully be finished work) with director/writer Joss Whedon and 2 of the cast members from the upcoming Marvel’s The Avengers – Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson). I realise that I’ve probably lost half of you to squee face after you read Joss Whedon. But bear with us a second. UPDATE: Nick Fury aka Samuel L. Jackson is joining the lads for the chat!
Fans all around the world will be able to participate in the Q&A using the hashtag #Avengers and the official Avengers Twitter handle, @Avengers. Bear in mind that there will be an insane amount of people asking questions, so you may not get yours answered, but all participants will get the booby prize (not that it’s actually a booby prize) of a sneak-peak 10-second tease of the 30-second Super Bowl spot that will air during this year’s Super Bowl.
But, there’s more! There will also be a slew of Avengers trivia to answer, with prize packs to be won! So make sure you stay alert and you’ve got your nerd hat on that day. The chat will be presided over by Marvel’s very own @Agent_M.
