2014 is kind of a big deal. It’s kind of a big deal because it’s the 75th anniversary of the greatest movie ever made. I am, of course, talking about the Wizard of Oz. For 75 years Dorothy Gale, a brainless Scarecrow, a heartless Tin Man, a cowardly Lion and a no-nonsense dog have given faithful service to the young in heart.
Being younger in heart than is likely advisable, I love The (Wonderful) Wizard of Oz to an absurd degree. So on that note, I wanted to share Lorna Alvarez‘s beautiful illustrations for The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
