The Pet Collective has created an incredibly accurate remake of the 2012 sci-fi adventure film The Hunger Games using just cats and sets built out of cardboard. It all seems pretty trivial and ridiculous when it’s boiled down to its very basic plot. But goddammit, if I didn’t love the books and the movie. The video stars Catniss Everdeen. Yep. They went there. And I love it. I hope they do Cat-ching Fire.
Of course there is pretty much every spoiler from the book/movie in here. So if you haven’t seen it, don’t watch it.
P.S. This is a good refresher before Catching Fire comes out.
P.P.S. Pusheen did do a version of The Hunger Games with cats that rocks, too.
