Islandic songstress Ólöf Arnalds releases a new 7″ and digital single on March 7 with One Little Indian records. It’s been a long awaited release since the video premiered in November. The single itself is called Surrender and features the mighty Björk. If you like Joanna Newsom you’ll like this girl. Listen to her live Soundcloud sessions version of the track below.

Named as one of the Artists to Watch in 2011 by numerous magazines and recently featured on The Bubble Boy‘s blog, Danish pop singer Oh Land has been making waves recently. She’s signed a deal with Epic Records (a subsidiary of Sony with far too many successful artists on their roster to even list) and it looks like she’s ready to hit the big time. Paper Crows who we featured a while back are set to release their second single. It’s the double A side Fingertips/Follow The Leader and is released on February 21. The more mellow Fingertips showcases Emma’s haunting vocals beautifully while the more up-tempo Follow The Leader features a very off-kilter heavy dubstep influence.
