If, like me, you have found the Final Fantasy series seriously lacking lately, you should be very excited about the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD re-release. This week at the Tokyo Games Show, the world got a glimpse at the latest trailer and we couldn’t be more excited.
Final Fantasy X is way up there on my list of favourites. If you’ve ever tried to dodge 200 lightning bolts, been ambushed and brutally murdered by Dark Valefor or felt the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end thanks to the Hymn of the Fayth, you can relive every moment later this year.
Included in the pack is the execrable Final Fantasy X-2. While I frankly loved the job system in this game, there is little to no story and the whole thing is a shameless attempt to market Final Fantasy to girls, who – newsflash – already love Final Fantasy.
FFX-2 aside, I heartily recommend picking up this gem and booking yourself some time of work and get down to ridding Spira of Sin forever.
