Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD (XBLA, PSN)
The updated re-release of Resident Evil Code: Veronica, originally released on the Playstation way back in 2001, called Resident Evil Code: Veronica X (get it, cus it’s been 10 years?) was was released onto the Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Network yesterday. Y’know for a plummer Mario spends very little time plumbing and an awful lot of time trampling small animals to death. Just something to think about. Well either way, everyone’s favourite Italian mushroom masher is back in glorious 3D. Here’s some character art to keep you slavering mini monsters happy until you can get your hand on it on November 18th (Europe) or November 14th for you lucky devils in North America.
Skullgirls
I’m sorry, did somebody say 2D beat-em-up full of kick ass girls that automatically detects and stops cheap, looping combos. This monster is there! Skullgirls is released early 2012 and sees its characters battle each other in search of an artifact that grants wishes. Our wish is that there be pillowfights. Tantalise yourselves with a character video for Parasoul. (See what they did there?)
