Sci-fi hoodie comedy Attack The Block sees a South London gang fend off an alien invasion in England to become unlikely heroes. Two clips have surfaced online along with a full length theatrical trailer. The film has a lot of hype around its release, and reports suggest it will just live up to it. The film stars Nick Frost, Jodie Whittaker and Luke Treadaway and is written and directed by Joe Cornish. The visuals are slick (or so it seems from what we can see here) and the dialogue is sharp.
The film is released on May 11, so you’ll have to wait until then. But , Empire suggests it will be worth the wait and that it “will be one of the most quotable films of the summer.”
