After years of waiting and waiting, the wait is finally over – we now officially have the first trailer and poster for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Peter Jackson’s upcoming movie (first of two!) set in the world of The Lord of the Rings.
The movie follows the story of Bilbo Baggins, Frodo’s uncle, who is, along with thirteen dwarves, on an epic quest to reclaim Erebor from the claws of Smaug, a fierce dragon – a quest that will take him to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain. Along the way, Bilbo meets someone who will change his life forever… Yes, we get to see the story of the “precious”.
Released into cinemas December 14, in 3D and 2D. It will be followed up the year after by the sequel, The Hobbit: There and Back Again. Until then, good Hobbit, here’s some niceties to feast your little eyes on.
