Edward Norton hosted SNL last night, and although the episode itself left a lot to be desired, this was the shining moment of the night. The spot mostly parodies The Royal Tenenbaums and Moonrise Kingdom (incidentally my favourite Wes Anderson films). Ed plays fellow Wes staple Owen Wilson to wonderful effect, and SNL newcomer Noël Wells absolutely nails her Gwyneth Paltrow impression. The only problem is, now I desperately need Wes Anderson to make a horror movie. So thank you for that, SNL.
And as always, you, indeed, had me at Wes Anderson.
