Spark – Revolving
It’s been a cracking year for Jess Morgan aka Spark. She’s toured as the support act for the likes of Marina and the Diamonds, Jared Leto, Diana Vickers and Janelle Monáe, signed to 679 Records, released two cracking singles (this being the second) and been interviewed by Pop Culture Monster. We’d like to think that the latter is the highlight. 2011 already holds promise to a tour of her own, followed by new singles and an album in the summer. This little track here is an absolute electropop gem, with Spark excelling both lyrically and vocally throughout. It’s a get-up and go kind of song that will have even the biggest scrooge tapping their foot along. Oh and Pop Culture Monster got his copy of the sexy white vinyl version the other day, it’s highly recommended. Beautiful.
